St Mungo’s has been nominated for the PinkNews Third Sector Equality Award.

Pink News has launched three new awards aimed at rewarding organisations which put a special effort into improving LGBT+ equality and the Third Sector Equality Award celebrates the efforts that organisations have undertaken to improve LGBT+ equality over the past year.

The St Mungo’s LGBTQ+ Network inputs into diversity training, internal policy reviews and supports staff and clients; raises awareness of LGBT equality through LGBT History Month, nationwide Pride events and influences organisational development and service provision.

The annual Pink News Awards evening recognises the contributions of politicians, campaigners, charities, businesses, public sector employers, broadcasters and journalists towards achieving LGBT+ equality at home and overseas.

The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 18 October in London, with nominations for the Third Sector Equality Award, Public Sector Equality Award and Business Equality Award.
